We're thrilled to share that Paws by Kai appears in the August 2026 issue of British Vogue, in the magazine's Jet Set Pets feature, a roundup of design led brands for dogs and the people who travel, walk and live alongside them.
Seeing our boots in the pages of Vogue is a milestone for a brand built on one stubborn belief: dogs deserve better than disposable booties.
What Vogue readers saw
The feature highlighted the two things that define every pair we make.
Interior grip for the city. Pavements, polished floors, lift lobbies, station concourses. Our shoes are designed with an interior grip system that keeps the boot stable on your dog's paw and keeps your dog stable underneath it, so they walk naturally instead of lifting their paws awkwardly down the street.
Fully waterproof boots for snow and salt. Winter pavements are treated with grit and salt that irritates and cracks paw pads. Our waterproof boots seal that out completely, which means no paw washing ritual after every walk and no chemical burns on a February morning.
Underneath both is construction meant to last. Not a lightweight sock that shreds on its third outing, but footwear built the way good footwear is built, to be worn repeatedly, for seasons.
Why we don't make disposable booties
Most dog boots on the market are designed to be replaced. Thin fabric, elastic that gives out, a sole that wears through in a month. You buy them again, and again, and eventually you decide dog shoes simply don't work.
They do work. They just have to be made properly.
Every pair of Paws by Kai shoes is made from durable materials with a structured fit, because a boot that stays on is the whole point. A boot your dog will actually tolerate wearing is the rest of it. We would rather sell you one pair that lasts than four pairs that don't.
